Nice location, needs some care

Resort is well located , close to the smokies and little Helen Town, the horse riding is a plus for the kids, this is our second time visiting this location and it really has a cleaning problem, tons of dust everywhere and lots of hair in bathrooms, same as last time, activities closing at 7 PM is another setback.

Great amenities

We stayed at a 2 bed villa. Villa was updated, clean, spacious and provided everything we needed! Amenities within the resort were great...golf, mini golf, various sport courts (basketball, tennis, volleyball), pool, etc. Resort was within reasonable driving distance to several attractions including Helen, various state parks, etc.

Great Location

Water bugs in the kitchen area and bath room. Brought to the attention of the front desk, they were going to have the unit treated and call me when it was completed, never got a call!

Great Area and clean rooms!

We (2 adults and 13, 11, 9 yo) thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel and the areas we visited (eg. Horse back, waterfalls, hikes, museum). We arrived when the leaves were changing and decreased amount of people due to Covid, so I am sure it would've been more crowded at the hotel and around the parks. We were very fortunate to not have to worry about social distancing too much. We took advantage of the amenities on the property.. tennis , basketball, etc. And it was a nice break from a long day. Definitely would stay here again.

Customer Service

The check in was OK but, the staff did not appear knowledgeable of the special package plan we were staying under. When questioned, we were told if we had complaints are questions about the cost or details of the special we had to call the corporate office and we were given that number. The outside of the units were dirty and covered in cob webs and they were three stories high with no luggage carts available

Roomy and comfortable suite.

We were in town for the Octoberfest in Helen, Ga. We were so impressed with the resort! It is a great place to take your family and stay and enjoy all it has to offer on the property. Clean and roomy rooms with lots of amenities included. We will stay again real soon!

Great place to stay; needs some cleaning

The sofa and loveseat were really dirty. Especially during COVID, this left us very uncomfortable but during a non-COVID stay, we would also find this unacceptable. They were so soiled that we had to put sheets on them to feel comfortable enough using them. We are not part of the lunatic fringe, paranoid, and OCD clean group that has ultra high expectations; ours are reasonable. The rest of the unit was fine. Staff was great.

Great getaway

We had a great stay in a 2 bedroom villa. The villa was spacious and clean. The grounds were well cared for. We enjoyed the gold course.
