Great location

Great hotel, rooms are huge. Pool is great and you are in a great position, right next to the Sphere. Off the hectic strip but within a 5 minute walk.

Everything you would ever want in a family friendly resort

Check in was smooth and accommodating and I was treated with respect and was also offered extra rewards room to accommodate my whole family comfortably. I love this property and I will definitely be coming back often!

Great value for family vacation

This was a great hotel for a family vacation. it is close enough to the strip to get the feel of Vegas. But far enough away to remove from craziness as well. This definitely helped make a long stay restful. The kitchen was decently stocked with all utensils, plates, pots and pans. The description still says they are doing rides to and from the strip. They are not doing this so a little inconvenient but nothing that I would not stay here again. overall a great stay.

Clean spacious room and great service

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Desert Club resort in Las Vegas. Our one bedroom upgraded suite included a walk-in closet, a huge bathtub in the bathroom, a dining room, living room, and a full kitchen. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed using the swimming pools that stay open much later than the pools in the hotels that are directly on the strip, and this resort has five swimming pools to choose from! And, unlike hotels on the strip, we did not need to pay extra to use the fitness centers. Also, the Gold Mine Bar and Grill offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, where you may choose to eat or carryout your food, and is conveniently located at the front of the resort near one of the swimming pools and near the resort's front desk. In addition, the resort staff are friendly and courteous. This resort is quiet and family-friendly and just a short walk to the Las Vegas strip. Overall, this resort offered us the perfect family vacation, and I highly recommend staying here!
