Nice getaway from the city

Great Hotel. Little expensive for what you get but it is on the beach and the rooms are clean. We enjoyed the quietness of the location. Not much to do at the hotel except for walk on the beach and play in the pool. You need to go in to Galveston to eat at any major restaurants. There is a really nice place off the highway maybe 1/2 mile from the hotel called "Coopers". Very good seafood, nice staff, lunch menu is small but inexpensive and dinner menu is nice but expensive. We went for lunch.

Great place! We enjoyed it!

Stayed for the wife’s birthday and to enjoy the beach! We were impressed with the hotel and loved how it was set up for access to the beach. We now know we will be making reservations to stay here to bring the kids. We loved that we saw the little game room for kids. We were impressed with our room and it was very clean and wonderful view!! We will be back!

Very satisfying

My son and I didn’t want to leave. We considered or stay as it felt like home.

Good value on business/leisure trip during Spring Break

My travel partners and I enjoyed the value of the room - especially since it was on the tail end of Spring Break. The room was clean, stocked, and provided room for three people to sleep comfortably. Our bathroom lacked hot water in the shower. We brought the issue to the front desk staff who responded as if our request for hot water was out of line. The maintenance personnel who fixed the issue were very, very friendly and respectful of us and our space.

Misleading View

I reserved a King room with villa. All of the photos show beach view. Being that the room is the most expensive room option I expected the room to be similar to the photos. I told the front desk we asked for a beach view and they said yeah it is. They put us in the villa closest to the road and on the lowest room as possible. The room has a 270 degree outlook patio. Of that 270 degrees maybe 10 degrees was visible beach between buildings and a parking lot. For over $700 dollars and being that we spend tens of thousands of dollars in hotels a year, for years, this was incredibly frustrating. I exclusively asked for a beach view. Was told I had it. I did not. False advertisement. 1 star. Waste of money. Could’ve gotten a cheaper place across the island with better view. Disappointed Diamond elite and platinum elite family.

Location

The location was perfect! Easy walk to the beach with Walmart/Kroger right down the road. It was quiet while we stayed (mid-week). Staff was polite and helpful. The rate was off from my IHG app booking. When I showed the front counter, they easily/quickly corrected the rate. Check rates at check in to make sure you’re paying the correct amount We will be returning!!

Great beach access and room amenities for the price!

We weren’t sure what to expect with the room because we couldn’t tell what was available on the website photos (maybe we didn’t look in the right place?) But we were very impressed with the kitchen and washer and dryer that was available. The bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows to choose from. But most importantly and why we selected the hotel was because we loved the quick and safe access to the beach-just down a little boardwalk to the beach. We also used the pool and parking in the shade under the hotel. Our visit was the second weekend in March and the beach area was not crowded. The hotel isn’t new-so there is wear and tear as you would expect, but for the price -we were very happy. Also -all the employees were so friendly and helpful (front desk, security and maintenance). We will visit again!!

nice location for beach access

Resort is located a short walk on the boardwalk away from the beach. Nice and quiet room, At first the light switches are difficult to figure out. Bathroom has 2 entries with only one set of switches near 1 entrance. difficult to find in the dark. my wife was not expecting to lose her cell phone charger when she shut off the nightstand lamp by switch. I was expecting a "Resort" to have a Bar and Restaurant since this was not the case. we needed to use Uber to get to a restaurant. the closest Restaurant is 1 mile away My room was more of a 1-bedroom condo full selection of dishes and cookware. including Toaster, Blender, Microwave, full refrigerator, and Stove with oven.

Overall Nice, Nice property but rooms need to be cleaned better and be prepared to be badgered about buying a time share.

Love this Hotel

Andrew and Esmeralda were very helpful and kind. Andrew is who I spoke with initially, and upon arrival during the check in process is when I met Esmeralda. I must say, there was another person checking in at the same time that was not friendly at all. Still both of them continued to smile and show excellent customer service. In this world you never know what you will encounter, but people like Andrew and Esmeralda make your day just a little bit brighter. They are definitely one of my reasons for making this hotel my first choice. Keep up the good work guys!!! ️️️
