Hotel fine except check-in

Hotel on Galveston beach, which is nice. Nice room with view of the Gulf of America. Very clean. Bed not as comfortable as other IHG properties we've stayed in. Biggest issue with the hotel was the check-in. Upon arrival after flying all day, we had to go to the vacation club desk to get the room keys activated. Once there, we were subjected to a half hour high-pressure sales pitch to go to a 90-minute timeshare presentation. This has soured us from wanting to stay in a Holiday Inn Club Vacations property ever again. There are no breakfast accommodations on the property. The property did have ample parking.

Stay away

I left 15 minutes after arriving. Horrible location and no food amenities. If you don't have a car, don't go.

Holiday in club

Great views excellent room attentive staff just wish hot tub was available

Not impressed

I was contacted 1 hour before check-in to tell me the pool, hot tub, patio & beach access walkway. Were under construction & could not be used. I was offered to use the facilities at another hotel 8 miles the opposite direction. They knew the construction was taking place nut did not tell me in time to make other stay & travel arrangements.

Buen hotel pero en remodelacion

llegamos cansados del hotel y yo soy un fiel huesped de IHG hotels y escogi ese por la cercania a la playa pero estaban remodelando la picina y no pudimos usar la para relajarnos nos ofrecieron manejar hasta el siguiente hotel para usar la picnina de ese hotel. de ahi en fuera es un buen hotel , agua caliente , camas comodas, sillas , buenos muebles , toallas y una amable recepcionista.

Nice stay on the beach

The hotel room was amazing. With washer dryer full kitchen everything you will need to stay. The view from the balcony was amazing also the employee is extra helpful. It was great stay I will highly recommend staying there. I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area. If I could give 10stars I would

Great place to stay when visiting the island!

We come down to the island every year from up north to escape the cold. After trying numerous places, we have settled on this location for many reasons, come down and experience it for yourself!

With a name like Holiday Inn, I expected better

We booked this hotel as it had the Brand Name of Holiday Inn. We arrived and felt the hotel location and property had promise but agter returning from dinner at around 9:00 pm, we entered the hallway and which was overwhelmingly permitted in marijuana smell. Upon climbing into bed, the mattress and pillows were some of the worst we have ever slept on. Holiday Inn’s brand didn’t shine brightly for us during this stay.

Beach view

The view was amazing. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
