Staff needs work on guest experience.

Check in was great, after the hurricane, staff was useless. No communication, empathy, help. Understand power is beyond control but some level of empathy would have been nice. Rooms were very dated and need repairs (shower door, grease hand print on ceiling)

Fantastic staff, great view

Staff was super friendly and helpful, views were great, nice size suite with amenities. Beds seemed small and were not very soft, but if you like firm beds it's good.

Great place to getaway

Family friendly and cost effective. Decent view of the gulf as well. Nice rooms, and friendly staff.

Best view!

The view was amazing, day time and at night. The staff was excellent, one of the ladies even gave me a list of the best restaurants in town, which helped us, because my family is so indecisive. I did not know a laundry room also was available when I booked the room, but it definitely came to good use as a mom traveling with kids. I didn't have to pack dirty laundry, so that was a huge plus for me! When booking, it stated the pool was open til 11pm. When in fact it closed at 10pm. We're on vacation....the pools need to stay open a little later.

Great customer service!

We had issues with check in but everyone took care of it and made our stay awesome. The staff is great. The resort could use some touch-up but overall in good shape. The pool and hot tub were great. The beds are not the best but we slept. Been about 8 years since stayed here but will definitely stay again. Close to all of Galveston and great location. The Market is great for drinks and snacks. Great kids area with games.

Comfy and great location

This property os located right on the sand. A wonderful ocean view of the Gulf. Very relaxing and a quiet area im Galvestion. I will surely book here again.

Enjoyed our visit

Close to the beach. Great view from our room. Great parking. The list of close good restaurants was helpful. The hotel was away from all the tourist traffic, which was nice and quiet. The beach wasn't crowded.

Resort Going Down/Poor Management

We have stayed at this resort since 2012 for our annual beach getaway. Over the years, the resort's upkeep and management have declined. We were stuck in our room (we had to call the front desk to open the door from the outside AFTER alerting them to the problem the day before with no assistance), which was a significant safety/fire hazard. The beds and sofas were old and dirty. The cabinets needed to be maintained. There are more affordable, maintained, and beautiful places to stay in Galveston, with accessible beaches and amenities for the exact cost. The constant IHG time share pitch is equally annoying.

Great stay

This is a nice resort. It is a little dated and some items such as the luggage carts were not in great shape. The beach access was wonderful, bit the beach was a little dirty, but nothing major. The bed was tiny, but we really enjoyed our stay.
