Great views and very relaxing.

Loved this stay! We had the villa on the end on the first floor, and the view from the balcony and bedrooms was UH-MAZING. So easy to relax and just chill out. Would've like some extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap for the bathtub - which was super relaxing by the way. But otherwise, the stay was A+.

Excellent stay!

We had a beautiful, large, clean room with a gorgeous patio view of the beach and Gulf water at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Beach Resort. The hotel pool was beautiful. It was an easy walk on their private boardwalk to a stunning beach. All staff were friendly and professional, but a personal THANK YOU to Alex and Carrie at the front desk who provided excellent service and attention to us, as well as to those that prepared our room perfectly. You made our stay special.

Our anniversary vacation

Suite was clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were exceptional and provided excellent support. This was our 42d anniversary and could not have had a more perfect vacation. We thank the staff for all their support in making our stay memorable.

Great hotel!

I am so appreciative they let us check in early. Room was beautiful, clean. Bed was comfortable. Great view. Will absolutely book again.

Nightmare

I’m a platinum member and will not be recommending Holiday Inn to anyone. This vacation was a nightmare. The room smelled like mildew and chemicals and the freezer smelled of dead rotting fish. The staff member offered to have it cleaned again but after 2 hours the problem was not fixed. We were asked to leave again for them to use an ionizer and after 2 hours, no change. They offered a downgrade that shared a door, we said no. We didn’t want to hear the doors all night. We had no choice but to check out and find a new hotel. We demanded a refund and receipt which took about an hour to get. They absolutely ruined our first day of vacation (3:30pm-11:00pm). When we returned home we checked our credit card statement and found that Holiday Inn accessed our account the next day without our permission. I have a problem with this. Do not stay here.

Leisure Time in Galveston

Great property. We have been here before over 10 years ago. Property taken care of. We enjoyed a 1 bedroom king condo with kitchen and huge bathroom with separate shower and garden tub. We faced the west gulf top floor. Great condo E56A. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. They had complimentary umbrellas and chairs. Right on the beach, no crossing highway. Away from busy highway in town. We went out to eat at night, had breakfast and lunch in condo. Walmart and Kroger are on Sea Wall Drive. Beach was not crowded! Variety of people, young people, older couples, families, etc. enjoyed our stay. Restaurants we visited were Shrimp and Stuff, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Original Mexican. Will recommend!

The best hotel ever

First stop,location.Perfectly located,away from the busy streets of Galveston.The beach access is awesome ,right after swimming from the pool we go to the beach for beautiful sunset &sunrise.We had a good time. 2nd is the room.Its so spacious &spotless.The kitchen is fully equipped.We all have the privacy which is seldom in staying a hotel.Balcony is beautiful,we have the access to the ocean view.Lastly,the staff is friendly &accomodating.Overall,we had an amazing summer getaway.Definitely will recommend to my family &friends

Great family vacation

We took a quick trip with our kids before the end of summer. The room was exactly what we needed! The balcony was magnificent and the location next to the beach was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Avoid the crowds at this gem resort

We love Galveston, but hate the overcrowded Seawall beaches. This hotel is right on the beach, with a convenient foot bridge from the first floor to the beach sand. The king suite was worth the expense. Balcony views, kitchen stocked with essential dishes and utensils, and a spacious restroom with jacuzzi tub and wall in shower. Abundant shells and sand dollar bits nestled in the clean expanse of no vehicle public beach.

Best beach access! Pool and hot tub were great.

My daughter and I needed to get out of the city just for a moment. I booked this hotel for a fair price, binging that it was last minute, and we had a great time. The hotel is near Jamaica Beach which is close enough to the pier, but still far enough away to have some peace and quiet. This hotel is also very close to the best local restaurants on Galveston island, (Cooper Landing, Waterman's, and Mario's Pizza).
