overall a great stay with a good company! this location was just right for the trip. it had a great beach resort feel to set the tone for a great weekend. would have like to been upgraded to the next room. will definitely come back

Amazing staff, clean rooms and a awesome pool and hot tub set up

The room was amazing. My wife and I had coffe on the balcony every morning watching the sun rise over the ocean. The pool and hot tub is set up perfectly. The office never ran out of beer for us to grab while enjoying ourselves poolside. The walk from the pool to the ocean is an early, short walk with a shower facility right by the pool to wash off the sand.

Great vacation! We had so much fun we stayed an extra day! Front desk was very helpful with extending our stay!

Great place to stay- simply great

I must admit the location of our room and the location of the beach and the great nights of sleep made this the best experience we have ever had with any of the many IHG affiliated hotels we have stayed in and that says a lot and that’s the absolute truth.

Beach break

All great except one elevator not working. Single bedroom suite had foldout couch bed. The room was very cramped when bed was folded out. Balcony very small, only room for one person or two very skinny people! Elevated walkway to beach very nice. We had a lot of rain, so there parking underneath was flooded. Thus limited parking in other areas. Wine tasting was nice.

Great views and very relaxing.

Loved this stay! We had the villa on the end on the first floor, and the view from the balcony and bedrooms was UH-MAZING. So easy to relax and just chill out. Would've like some extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap for the bathtub - which was super relaxing by the way. But otherwise, the stay was A+.

Excellent stay!

We had a beautiful, large, clean room with a gorgeous patio view of the beach and Gulf water at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Beach Resort. The hotel pool was beautiful. It was an easy walk on their private boardwalk to a stunning beach. All staff were friendly and professional, but a personal THANK YOU to Alex and Carrie at the front desk who provided excellent service and attention to us, as well as to those that prepared our room perfectly. You made our stay special.

Our anniversary vacation

Suite was clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were exceptional and provided excellent support. This was our 42d anniversary and could not have had a more perfect vacation. We thank the staff for all their support in making our stay memorable.

Great hotel!

I am so appreciative they let us check in early. Room was beautiful, clean. Bed was comfortable. Great view. Will absolutely book again.

Nightmare

I’m a platinum member and will not be recommending Holiday Inn to anyone. This vacation was a nightmare. The room smelled like mildew and chemicals and the freezer smelled of dead rotting fish. The staff member offered to have it cleaned again but after 2 hours the problem was not fixed. We were asked to leave again for them to use an ionizer and after 2 hours, no change. They offered a downgrade that shared a door, we said no. We didn’t want to hear the doors all night. We had no choice but to check out and find a new hotel. We demanded a refund and receipt which took about an hour to get. They absolutely ruined our first day of vacation (3:30pm-11:00pm). When we returned home we checked our credit card statement and found that Holiday Inn accessed our account the next day without our permission. I have a problem with this. Do not stay here.
