Love it ❤️
Very impressed with the resort and the staff, very friendly, welcoming and professional. Got us towels quickly when we asked, room is spacious, clean and was perfect for my family! Balcony was pretty cool too!

It was a beautiful surprise
It is a beautiful place to stay with your family you feel safe and secure with security. Plus the place is nice and clean, its has plenty of amenities that you can enjoy with with the family. I really enjoyed the place looking forward towards my next visit. Bring food as all the eateries are far about 20 to 30 minutes away especially for breakfast.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Worth an extended stay
Honestly, everything about this hotel was great. However, if you have small children, I suggest bringing your own plastic glasses and plates as the hotel only supplies glass which is easily breakable. Sleep masks might not be a bad idea as the walkway lights can overpower the blinds and there are no blackout curtains or shades. But the amenities that the hotel offers are amazing and the location is peaceful. It's a short pop across the street to head to a nice section of Beach

Great property - ongoing repairs
The room was nice. We did enjoy our stay. There were some issues that made it less enjoyable. There were dirty plates and a remote control on the floor outside the room when we arrived. The door lock was also messed up and it took several minutes trying until it finally worked. This kept happening throughout our stay and we had to wait several minutes before we could enter the room. we would have to keep trying to open and even through the light was green, the handle would not open the door. We reported all this. It was frustrating. They sent someone out to look at it but could not be repaired as it would "make too much noise" as a piece of the lock mechanism had to be "banged". We understand the elevators are being worked on, etc. but it is an inconvenience. Everyone in hotel using the same elevator - it made going up and down to our room a challenge as we had to wait constantly to go up or down. Overall beautiful property. This was our first time at this resort. These were small things but still an inconvenience. The staff at pool was excellent.

Family friendly, away from town
This was the perfect place for my family to stay. It had things to do for the little kids and the big kids. We liked that it was away from the crowd and still had easy access to the beach. The resort was very nice and the staff was kind and inviting. It was everything we needed!
Yes, I recommend this property.

Friendly Staff, Good Rooms, Not the best location
You are literally 13 miles from EVERYTHING Galveston. Although outside of the hustle and bustle of the island you better bring your bug spray since the mosquitos will try to take you away due to the cattle farm next door. The advertised infinity pool, gym, and nicer units are not for IHG members so don't let that fool you. This is a timeshare location, and they will try, and have you sign up for a presentation, in our experience the guest services employee was very nice to us until we didn't want to attend a presentation. When we woke up at 7:30 the morning after arrival to our room being 80-degrees we called the front desk from the unit's phone and reported the outage, when we had heard nothing by 9am we walked to the front desk and our issue had not been relayed. Maintenance was at our unit within the hour, and they did go buy a free-standing AC unit to try and cool the 85-degree room down. By 3pm with no AC and wasting a whole day of our vacation we ended up moving units. FYI be aware that there are no elevators to the units, so after about 100 trips up and down 4 flights of stairs we moved across the parking lot. The employees of the activity center were very nice, but the arcade is ridiculously expensive. I honestly expected better due the amount paid nightly. Personally, my family will try a different IHG location when we go back to Galveston. This one was just not for us.
No, I do not recommend this property.

Review of hotel
Location was great but not close to town. Covered parking was nice in case of rain. Room was dirty. Pool was nice to relax after a day at the beach.

Comfortable beds and great vacation getaway
This was our first time staying at this IGH property in Galveston. It was amazing! The rooms are spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals instead of eating out every night. I highly recommend this property! We’ve already booked our next stay!

Perfect location!
Great stay. Signature rooms are on the beach. Staff is friendly. Wasn’t overly too crowded. They have updated a lot of things to include the mini golf and arcade. Cafe was clean and inviting.
