Roach infestation

The first day/night!! As a SPIRE MEMBER We asked for early check in and wasn’t able to get in until 4 hrs later. So Where do I begin.... The kids found other people belongings in our room. The ice maker didn’t work. When I begin to cook all the roaches came out even in trash can that’s inside the cabinet. Maintenance man came out sprayed a few corners for the roaches and left. They said they couldn’t move us because they were booked. A/C was not cooling. Second night still having issues with roaches and the A/C. Then asked them what were they going to do about the problem. They told us a manager will be contacting us within a hour. Never heard from management until the day before we left. Never stay in Room 108 on the Signature Side!

Showers were amazing

The double rainhead shower heads were amazing. Shower was huge!!

it was ok wasn't looking for a timeshare but they pushed and pushed till i had to get mad.. then we get to the room its nice but on our last night the ac went out and it was 80 degrees in the room. and in the photos its on the beach and in fact its across the street and little to no beach access at all

We had a great stay there will come again but want to stay at the property on the beach please send me some good rates

Beautiful Views and Rooms

Signature villa rooms were great. Extremely nice and spacious with every amenity you could want. Private balcony with private pool and beach access for the signature rooms. This resort is farther from town and seawall so the beach was never crowded with people. Very peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Galveston vacation

We loved our stay at this Holiday Inn. Great location right on the beach. The rooms were spacious and great for our large family get together for my daughters birthday.

Awesome Place To Stay

This review is for signature villas side of resort. I seen a lot of reviews of timeshares we were never asked or heard a timeshare mentioned. Very nice private pool with perfect beach access for signature villa rooms. Not overly crowded however some parents allowed there kids with food to occupy hot tub against rules. Rooms are absolutely beautiful and so is view. We stayed on 3rd floor away from pool. Only downside is they need more baggage carts and the elevators need some maintenance but our stay was quiet and peaceful and we will be returning anytime we visit Galveston wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Vacation like a celebrity!!

Absolutely loved the room!! It was huge! I felt like a celebrity on vacation!

Personally I had a horrible experience

This resort is actually very nice and relaxing. I personally had a horrible experience due to my card being charged the wrong amount for the incidental fee which tied up all my available funds! You can imagine the inconvenience this caused while on vacation!

Nice one night option for group of 5

We needed accommodation for party of 5 to attend a graduation party nearby Jamaica Beach, and the IHG Seaside Resort fit the bill. We got the 2-bedroom apartment style which is actually two adjoining rooms complete with separate small kitchenette and bathroom. It was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed it as alternate option over two hotel rooms. We did experience an issue coming back to the room late at night and the smoke detector alarm started beeping due to dated battery (?). The security man came by but even after removing the battery the beeping continued. Since this is connected to the monitoring service there wasn't anything else to do. We appreciated that Grant stopped by to help. The next day I reported to the front desk and got an explanation/apology and a credit for the room. All in all it was a good experience and I would stay here again due to the staff service.
