Expectations are important

Pros- Ambassador Suite is very Spacious. There is plenty of room to sleep 4 privately but 6 total. TV's in every bedroom and in the living room. 2 outdoor seating areas with access to 4 small Charcoal BBQ pits with seating area a few steps away. The pool is very close only a short walk. Plenty of towels for both hygiene and separate towels for the pool. Beds were very comfortable and the temperature is easily controlled throughout the unit. Bedding was clean as we're the bathrooms. Each bathroom comes equipped with plenty of towels and Dove Hygiene products. The Kitchen is stocked with adequate cook and dinnerware. Cons- checkin was smooth, but I could have done without the sales presentation invitation. Beware they will attempt to convince you to spend 90 minutes with their sales team. This can be a bit annoying. Room Concerns The floor in the kitchen did not look as clean, it appeared to need a good sweeping and mopping. Internet connection was subpar at best. The property updates they have made clearly did not include boosting the signal. For this I took off a star because it's 2024, get with the program. The temperature in the unit wasn't well regulated so the front room was hot while the back room was really cold requiring extra blankets. The property does have activities, but Beware, there is a cost associated with the vast majority of them. My family and I did not participate so I cannot comment on the quality of any activity. Other things to note, we stayed 3 nights, this is not a property that will restock towels without a specific ask. They do provide separate pool and bath towels. Overall Value for the money, I'd give it a 3/5 with 5 being the best Value. Lack of quality internet connectivity and dirty floors in the kitchen would prevent me from returning.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Check in Troubles

This timeshare-style facility has hundreds of rooms in separate buildings throughout the resort, some across a busy street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Despite confirming our rooms in advance, we experienced problems at check-in. One of our rooms was not ready until 6:00 p.m. despite receiving a text that it was. The other room had to be moved to the far end of the resort because of a broken elevator. Our overall stay was fine because the room we received was beautiful. There was no water in the pool. The fireplace did not work. It was for display only.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Excellent experience

Excellent experience for our family. We truly enjoyed the amenities and my kids played with all the fun attractions. The front receptionist Lisa went above and beyond in her service that we decided to stay an extra day. Thank you and we will be back soon!

Yes, I recommend this property.

Room was in shambles and many things broken

The room was horrible. Broken fridge, broken toilet, and broken stove. The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling by wires. The living area had a tiny 32in tv althouth the site pics show a big tv. The pics also show in condo washer and dryer. That's false. They have a wash room with about 6 washers and dryers for several hundred people to use. We were put next to the highway and the road noise was so loud we couldn't sleep. As far as stay goes this place is the worst I have ever brought my family to for the last 20 years. I will never stay here again. Also I'm a Diamond Elite member and was treated like trash and also put in the only set of condos without a pool. We had to pack up and drive to other condo areas if we wanted to swim. I brought all these issues up to the manager who said he would reimburse me some points. Needless to say I never saw any points reimbursed. I feel lime he just told me what I wanted to hear to make me go away.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Family Vacations

I enjoyed the amenities inside our 2 bedroom Villa. The balcony, overseen the pool, the master tub jacuzzi was the bonus.

Rooms need maintainence

We traveled from Phoenix to visit friends in this small town, and this location is very convenient as it’s close to them. The reception staff was pleasant, but the interior of the check-in office felt very outdated and could use some refreshing. We arrived with three very active kids after a day of travel, provided our registration information, and were told to collect our room keys at the next counter. However, at counter two, we were met with a lengthy sales pitch because we aren’t timeshare members. After repeatedly explaining that we didn’t have time this week to attend the timeshare meeting, we were finally given our keys and allowed to go relax in our room. To reach the villa, we had to drive down the highway, almost a mile trip, making it inconvenient to access kid-friendly activities and amenities. We chose a 2-bedroom villa, which combines a studio and a 1-bedroom unit. The studio has a king-sized bed and big screen TV next to the exterior door, a small kitchen, and a bathroom with a standard tub. The 1-bedroom unit features a full kitchen, a dining table for six, big screen TV and a sleeper sofa with no sheets or blanket provided, so that was useless to us. The bedroom suite includes a big screen TV, large separate bathroom with a water closet, jetted tub, shower, two sinks, and a stackable washer/dryer. The windows have only horizontal blinds and no curtains, so the bedrooms are very bright - even at night. See photos. The villa definitely needs some updates. For the price we paid, we expected better. There were cosmetic issues like a stove element missing pieces, large chips in the walls, broken bathroom cabinet knobs, and a non-working phone in one of the rooms. At times, we could smell cigarette smoke in the room from someone smoking outside. The most significant inconvenience was the shower, which flooded the bathroom floor every time it was used. Even with the shower door closed, a lot of water ended up on the floor, requiring all of the towels provided to mop it up, which meant we had to wash towels each time the shower was used. The washer and dryer are small, and the dryer takes a long time to dry clothes. Despite cleaning the lint trap and adjusting the heat, it still didn’t work efficiently. We were expected to wash our own towels during our stay, but they did provide three laundry detergent packets for our seven-day stay. We were assigned a first-floor villa, and it sounded like the people above us were practicing the 10-yard dash all day and most of the night. The grounds are nice and well maintained. The pools were not very clean at all. Our kids preferred swimming in the river over these pools due to their lack of cleanliness. One evening, there was a loud party with excessively loud music at the BBQ grill outside our unit. After a few hours, around 10 p.m., I asked the front desk to send someone to ask them to turn down the music. While discourteous guests don’t affect my review score, the length of the loud jam session indicated a lack of on-premises security making rounds. Additionally, other guests’ kids pounding on the door and running away late at night woke us up a few times. I love a good night's sleep, and I would sleep better if I weren’t woken up in the middle of the night by a loud knock on the door right next to the bed. It’s baffling that parents would let their kids roam around a vacation spot like this in the middle of the night. Overall, I feel like giving 1 star is generous. We’ve stayed in much better places for much less. We probably won’t return unless we have no other options.
