TOWNHOUSE UNITS

We enjoyed our stays and feel very confortable with the resort. The townhouse units need upgrades to kitchen and bathrooms. Especially the inside of the cabinets. The bathroom sinks did not drain properly. The unit could have been cleaner. Air conditioning needs to be addressed in the upstairs

Does Not Meet Quality Level Expected of Brand

I've posted comments here and on Expedia. A lot of money for very poor service, questionable building conditions and cleanliness, lack of supervision for pool and common areas, miserable "breakfast" (microwaved pancakes or omelet with instant coffee - all charged for and served by surly staff), practically no cell service and unsecured wifi. Charged a "resort" fee for pretty much no resort amenities. IHG - with whom I generally have no issue and have had very pleasant stays - needs to audit these properties and spin off low performing properties such as this one. Detracted from what should have been a fun, restful weekend.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Excellent place for relaxation and excitement

Already recommended friends and family to visit if they choose to go to the berkshires. I also noticed there is another hotel in Vermont I will be making reservations for in the near future. Loved it that much. Will also repeat a stay at this hotel next year.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Vacation Club is NOT IHG - Stay Away from all

This hotel is dirty and run down. My second bad experience with IHG Vacation Clubs. Stay away from them. Only stayed there because a hotel site offered a quick drop in price making this much cheaper than anywhere nearby. Steep staircase in unit to carry your luggage up to bedroom level. Didn't need the kitchen, but wouldn't have used it it was so dirty. No charm

No, I do not recommend this property.

Perfect casual family resort

We stayed here with several other families for a long weekend and it’s exactly what we were looking for. There is plenty to do on site no matter the weather but the resort is also situated very close to Stockbridge and other cute towns and some amazing hikes. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy!

Yes, I recommend this property.

Breakaway weekend

Oak & Spruce was not our typical choice for our Berkshire vacations. Previously we had stayed in Hancock at Club Wyndham, Bentley Brook, but sadly they closed in Dec 2025. The rooms at Oak and Spruce were spacious, clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was convenient having all the activities in one central location. We had requested a first floor room, but not a handicapped accessible room. We still had to go up 3 steps to get to our room. There were no grab bars in the shower and the ice cube maker made 8 ice cubes in a two hour period. We ended up buying ice from Big y down the road. Overall it was a good investment for our money.

Yes, I recommend this property.
