Excellent stay in the Berkshires

Enjoyed a short vacation getaway. Hotel location is very convenient to many local attractions.

Clean

We stayed at oak n spruce during covid 19 and had a great experience even though the game room and food was closed we took advantage of the hiking trail on the grounds, the grills outside, the pool, playground and mini golf. Our room was very clean and comfortable we had a great stay!

Comfy and quite

Very comfortable bed and quite room we have stayed in a 2 bedroom before and also stayed in a one bedroom. Both rooms were a suite with a full kitchen

Lovely Berkshire getaway

The resort is spread among several buildings. We were lucky enough to get a unit in the last building, where our balcony overlooked the forest and brook. Unit was very close to outdoor pool and mini golf, but away from traffic. Buildings are 3 story with no elevator. Units are somewhat dated, in particular the kitchen, but everything was equipped and clean. Very quiet resort. Pool was heated and still open in late Sept. Location is very central to the quaint local towns, and numerous hiking trails.

good location BUT major issues with cleanliness

I had a slightly more than disappointing stay for two nights with my family of four. On first glance, I thought the rooms appeared quite clean, until I started noticing all of the spiders/cobwebs throughout the room. All the corners in the room, vents, and ceilings had not been cleaned and I found several spiders throughout the 2 BR villa (nearly every corner). More disappointing than this was seeing two roaches that ran through the kitchen, I managed to catch one but not the other. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they sent someone to address the issues but only cleaned the vent and a couple cobwebs, leaving the majority of the issues unaddressed. Additionally, the jacuzzi - while nice, hadn't been cleaned thoroughly as it had hair in it, and some black looking mold/gunk in the jets. I could continue on, but these were the glaring issues that bothered me most. Aside from the issues, the resort amenities were pretty solid. Enjoyed the mini-golf/outdoor pool, and the attendants were kind people. Location is also solid as you can see plenty of nearby attractions/go hiking within 20 mins driving from the resort. We salvaged our stay by limiting our time in the room. Not sure I'd ever come back though.

Great place to stay!

Very cozy. Lots of fun activities. Easy check in. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful weekend

So relaxing on this beautiful property. Swimming, tennis, basketball and walks in nature--all the best elements for a wonderful relaxing vacation. Covid precautions by the staff were impressive.

Not a good experience

Shower heads fell off when in use. No resturant on site,
