Another wonderful stay at Orange Lake

I happen to be a gold member and owner at Orange Lake. It is one of my favorite places to stay. All of the amenities they offer leaves you wanting nothing. orange Lake is the best bang for your buck!! The only drawback is the push to listen to how you can upgrade or change your ownership. After saying no upon check in, I then received a call the following morning where I declined the offer. I expected the push as I have stayed here plenty of times so it does not deter me from coming back. This time my trip was very short and had to get in a lot of activities and truly did not have the time to spend listening to a sales pitch. I love Orange Lake and will be back again and again!!

The large rooms and all the amenities including large refrig, washer, dryer, and coffee pot were a huge plus to making our stay a success. The only drawback were the very low and small commodes in the bath rooms.

We enjoy staying at Orange Lake. Very convenient to all Disney Parks.

El resort Es impresionante, enorme, la habitación súper cómoda, solo creo que le falta una modernización, un toque de mejora en el mobiliario y los kitchen appliances (son viejos)

Great location and amenities

We loved the hotel, have stayed here before. This time in 81000 building by River Island. Great location. Only issue the room needs updates. Sofa was old and the sofa bed part was not acceptable. Washer and Dryer were very small, could look to update those. Also Wifi was spotty, need to boost that.

Can't Wait to Return!

This resort was an absolute shock to us. We live close (Tampa) and we just wanted a nice place for our son to enjoy a water park and get away. This one was MORE than we expected. They have pools at every location throughout the resort and the lazy river in the middle surrounded by eateries and a bar. 2 bedroom was perfect with the kitchen. On the golf course and saw the Disney fireworks at ours (East Village). Only change is we would have stayed longer! Which we plan on doing on the very near future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The reason we gave 2 stars on the sleep is because we have an amazing mattress at home and we tend to be snobs about other ones :)

Handicap

Our villa was very nice. We were in a handicap villa. It would be nice to have handicap grab bars in the second bathroom. We appreciated being in the same villa for almost 5 wks. So nice not to move. Would also be nice to have internet service at west pool. Overall very relaxing.

Not as great as it could be

My main complaint would be the extremely loud employees in the hall each morning. You kind of expect kids running up and down the halls in a family resort, yet there were none, just loud employees, which i believe were maintenance guys, standing in the hallway conversing for over 45 minutes each morning. Beyond that I have not been to a hotel or resort in years that didn't have bottled water or coffee in the rooms. really? The inability to rent movies on a hotel TV these days is also unheard of. Time for an update guys. The bartenders were nice as was our waitress at the two restaurants. Food quality was good and drink prices were ok. The pool hours were great. Simply put, I plan on going to the new margaritaville resort once it opens down the street. The main reason was the lound staff in the halls. It was probably the rudest thing I've ever encountered at a resort and easily controllable with decent management. I have primarily stuck with hhonors for the past few years and this was a good reminder as to why. You guys have called me numerous times to do a tour for a timeshare. I chose not to do the tour, rather book a room myself and see what the resort looks like without a sales rep on my arm, I did. And it's sad because I spend a lot of time in Orlando and gatlinburg each year.
