Beware!

If you enjoy doing laundry, dishes, and cleaning up on your vacation, this is your spot. Do not expect any service unless you plan a 14 day stay. Do not expect any assistance with your reservation until you arrive, even if someone else in your party arrives first. This is an owner resort and you stay in someone's apartment. You do not get towels or maid service, and the resort does not tell you this until you run out of towels and they suggest you should use the washer/dryer in the apartment to do your own laundry. The check-in staff was great and tried to make up for the girl on the phone (J******) who couldn't have been less helpful, but her attitude combined with the fact that this is not a hotel at all made for an awful experience. Would not recommend or ever go back.

Great find

We live about an hour away from here but had a great getaway with friends. The resort was completely remodeled and was very comfortable. We wished we had more days to spend there.

its ok a little pricey for no maid service unless you pay a up charge. no breakfast on property.

Average property

If you're an "elite" member, don't expect that status to be recognized or rewarded at this property. The exterior of the property will remind you of an old Holiday Inn property. The rooms, however, are nicely appointed, and the kitchen has everything you would want. The property is a little noisy, with people walking around speaking in loud voices at midnight. Overall, not what you would expect from a high priced vacation resort, but not terrible, just average.

Excellent family friendly resort

We had a wonderful stay at this super family friendly resort. Rooms were huge. Pools were awesome. Very clean! Our room even had a washer and drying in it. Modern and updated. Comfortable beds

Great getaway

Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. The pool areas were excellent. The check in process takes too much time, they should have more than 2 people checking guests in. I waited nearly 20 minutes to get checked in but other than that, it was a great experience.

Great stay!

We stayed at the Scottsdale resort for one week in April 2017, there were 5 adults and 2 small children in our group. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and it was more than enough room! The villa itself was modest in terms of decor in comparison to other villas that we have stayed at but definitely comfortable and good value for the price. Our kids really enjoyed the kids waterpark, this is a great asset! We would have liked to try the restaurant but it is still not open yet. Overall great stay, we would definitely return in the future for another family vacation!

HUGE Units

The rooms are really large with lots of room to spread out and an "open concept" so everyone can hang out together if desired and 2 balconies if not! The kitchen was very well equipped so cooking in is no problem.

It could be great

This property could be great. It has a nice set up and Villas are spacious and well equipped. However, I have some issues with this property. They failed to respond 3 e-mails I sent before arrival to try to pre-pay with our corporate card. They do not offer upgrades to Spire Ambassador members. Even worse, they gave upgrades to my friends that are not part of the IHG Club. I request for a specific "Casita" and they said they had no rooms and then gave my friend the same day a room in that "Casita" when he is not a member. A last issue is the amount of cockroaches at night in the common areas and the swimming pool (at least on the Social pool).

This Resort is the BEST in all of IHG

I would highly recommend the Scottsdale Holiday Inn Vacation Club Resort. There is none better for family here in the Scottsdale area.
