Nice Little Getaway

This was a nice place to go for a quick getaway. It offered multiple activities for adults and older kids. I would have liked to see more offered for younger kids, but overall, my family had a great time.

Perfect for a family get away!

We were looking for a quick getaway outside of St. Louis but close enough to enjoy a ballgame. The location of the resort was in a beautiful area easily accessed from the highway but far enough off the road that you forgot it was there while you enjoyed the pool, lake, golfing, trails, mini-golf, arcades, sand volleyball court, and the many other activities for all ages. Everything we needed to have a great time was available and well-kept. The entire facility showed signs of being well cared for by the entire staff. We had a wonderful time and all my family agreed it was a place we look forward to returning to for another relaxing stay.

Quiet and peaceful

Enjoyed ourselves fully during the visit. There’s so many things to do. Trails to explore nearby. Beautiful views of nature and lake. Neatly maintained grounds for hiking, golfing and fishing. If you’re needing to get some snacks available onsite store.

Very friendly family resort.

Lots of activities for kids that are included in the stay. The rackets, balls, putters, etc. are all provided which is nice. The pool was very big, staff was friendly, lake was beautiful, and room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and everything was provided in the kitchen with the exception of a pizza pan, just fyi.

Numerous amenities!

Great place to take kids. So many different things to do. Still need to get in a canoe and explore the lake. The only con was that the floor of the suite was still dirty or needed to be shampooed because shortly after checkin we noticed our feet becoming black. I’m Therese the bathrooms and bedsheets were clean!

Great family resort

This resort is great for families. There are so many fun things to do and amenities included in your stay. We love to come every year with cousins and friends. All of our kids look forward to this trip every year. Great value and family friendly!

Nice room and affordable

Love this place , we visit every summer just to get away from Illinois for a few days and enjoy all the things that this resort has to offer. My kids absolutely adore coming here.

Excellent facilities and friendly staff

Excellent facilities and friendly staff makes stay memorable. Golf course is excellent for a novice like me. Unit was exceptionally clean with good quality utensils. The new band keys were very easy to carry.

The room was very clean. The staff was curious and very friendly. When the lights went out the front desk called to check on the guest.

Affordable with great activities for all.

I took a 2 night trip with my daughter and niece for my daughters 14th birthday. We were all very happy with our stay. The girls were entertained the entire time. We absolutely loved the pool and mini golf. The staff were wonderful. My girls commented more than once how nice the employees were, and for 2 teens to notice that, really says something.
