What a hidden Gem!

I cannot say enough about what a pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable experience my family and I had here. We took advantage of most of the amenities, and will most certainly be coming back to stay, even though we live locally. It’s such a quaint and nearby getaway that’s perfect for us! I definitely felt like we were on vacation, and service was above and beyond.

Great amenities and staff

We had an awesome stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The only things that could be improved were the cleanliness of the jacuzzi tub, the kitchen accessories (a few essential items were lacking), the comfort of the bed (a little hard and springy), and the pizza was pretty greasy.

Perfection!

Clean & Safe, and I am Very picky! This was the perfect long weekend getaway with so much to do on the property! Staff very accessible, our family felt free and safe to explore. Property very clean and well maintained. Friends came to visit and plan to meet us again and stay as well next summer because they loved the property as well. An old school-Dirty Dancing Vibe! Something different from the typical beach vacay that we didn’t even know we needed. Lifeguards were very attentive, friendly and took fantastic safety measures! We will be back!

Comfortable bed and great staff

This is a great place to stay. Wish we would have come in a better weather month to be able to enjoy all the amenities. I little far from St. Louis, but we liked that we were out of the city. Great and helpful staff.

I always enjoy staying at this resort it’s close to my family and close the St. Louis. There’s a lot to do and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend staying here because it is very clean fun and enjoyable for family and friends to come and visit me while I’m in town

Nice room lacking services

Nice property, and rooms. My only complaint is available food services. I didn't use the breakfast options as my schedule didn't allow it. However the snack bar could be open later, and a more diverse menu would be great. Staff was friendly and polite.

Clean and quiet

Room was clean and quiet. All staff members were helpful and courteous. Property was beautiful and tastefully decorated for the fall season. Only wish the pool was still open! We’ll be back. We stayed 3 nights, so the third night was free. Great value!

Breakfast

As far as I know, there was no breakfast included, but that would have been nice. I really enjoyed our weekend at the resort, but I've always loved the homemade waffles that you get from a regular hotel. If we could add those to this resort, and drop the price just a tiny bit, it would be perfect.
