Hot Springs
This was one of the best stays I have ever had! Hot Springs is a must! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was incredible! We will be definitely coming back!

Not so happy
We first of all,my price was supposed to be $131.00 Ended up being almost $200. The carpet had stains, the main pool and hot tub was close and all the hot springs were not very hot. The restaurant did not respond to 2 phone calls requesting an order to go. Finally just went in there and ordered food . Price on the menu did not match my charges Pretty sure we will not be back. Thid was for my husband's 75th Birthday sad

Pleasantly Surprised!
We were pleasantly surprised; we typically would not stay in a Holiday Inn, and this one was beautiful! The staff was impeccable, and the hotel was up to date and very clean. Two things keep me from giving 5 stars: our room's jacuzzi tub did not work, and one of the bedside lights. We would have really enjoyed being able to utilize the on-site restaurant and saloon, which is closed a couple of days a week.

Good Experience with Minor Flaws
David Walley's is a wonderful resort and I have been there many times. We experienced a few flaws this visit (dirty dishes still in the dishwasher, slow service at the restaurant, no live music). We were staying in one of the older buildings (Bodie) and it could do with some updating. Despite these few setbacks, the overall experience was very enjoyable.

If it wasn’t for the general manager Mendy I would give 10 out of 10 stars I love this place usually. This is the first BAD experience I’ve ever had I’ve stayed at this resort 60+ times And I will never go back.

We had a great time! The room was like a home away from home, and so we'll stocked. The hot springs were so relaxing, and the steam room was nice to use afterwards. Would definitely recommend, and already have!

The hotel is very old and a lot of the facilities in the room does not work.

No prior communication of change of room
Front desk person notified us that our reservation room was not available when we arrived. There was no option other than a down grade to a handicap room. No discount for having to do this. Also several unexplainable charges with the entire stay.
