Great location for genoa wedding. Uncomfortable beds. Poor bathroom lighting. Terrible room coffee. Terrible lobby coffee with fake powder creamer and sugar. No restaurant available until noon. Expensive grab n go limited market by pools. No early check in possible. Toilet so low its almost to floor. Dirty room carpet.

Beautiful
It was a beautiful place. We love the Hot Springs. We had a great time. The room was excellent. The pool was excellent. The staff was excellent. We really enjoyed it.
Bam Bam
Great friendly service and a king bed.
The unit we stayed in had a great floor plan. We also had a full kitchen with everything that we needed. What we really liked were the hot spring pool and baths. There is something magical about the hot spring water! There are all kinds of things to do in the area. We visited museums, Street Vibrations and even hiked to a waterfall. South Lake Tahoe is only 20 minutes away and we enjoyed a sunset dinner and 3 hour cruise that included a tour of Emerald Bay.

Great place to stay in Carson Valley
Even though the rooms are on the smaller side, the beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean. Nice having a balcony even if we did look at the road. Make sure to take advantage of the hot springs. Ice is on the second floor. Took me forever to find it. Nice have a small kitchenette.

Great Location
I travel to Carson City often, but I had yet to try this location. It is near Genoa and the Kingston Grade and not too far from CC. I wanted to enjoy a nice dinner, but I was there on Monday and Tuesday, so most restaurants were closed. I brought my own food. It is a bit of a drive to get food, so I would recommend you have some, even if you end up going out to eat. Upon check in, although I was paying for my room like in any other hotel, I was subjected to the timeshare upsell by a very friendly guy. A guy who had no clue how to end his spiel. I would say, he talked at me for 20 minutes with all the so called advantages. Then he invited me to an even longer presentation at their "sister property" up the hill. It was at the same time as my dermatology appointment and I told him so. He actually suggested I CANCEL my dermatology appointment so I could go to the presentation. WHAT!? I moved to the door, but he wouldn't stop talking. I am too polite, I should have just walked away. I would stay here again, especially if I can bring my husband with me and come Wed-Sun. We live a days drive away and someone has to take care of the dog. And going out to dinner is important to us. But as I said, the location is nice.

This is not a "resort".
There is nothing about this place that makes it a "resort." The hot tubs are nothing special even if they are working. The restaurant is closed most of the time and the rooms are not as nice as advertised. I would not consider going back.
Disappointed Bride
Beautiful but Quickly Disappointed
The floors were disgusting. I walked around only inside on the mostly tile floors, and within a short period, my feet were dirty and black. The grounds crew came up onto the patio while I was laying on the bed undressed a couple feet away with only the screen door closed. It completely took away the romantic feel and I felt completely exposed. There was nothing stating they’d be there to do that (and to be aware) and I immediately wished we’d stayed somewhere else

Terrible Stay
The room stunk when we arrived and we had to use deodorizing spray to make it bearable. The AC barely worked and nights were incredibly hot. The floors were filthy and my feet turned black while walking around the room. Spiders were everywhere and the screen doors was broken and we couldn't open the doors unless we wanted bugs to enter the room.

Beautiful surroundings!
We have stayed here many times. This trip was for business, but my hubby I decided to spend some time relaxing at David Walley's. The surroundings are beautiful and never disappoint. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed resting our tired bones in the sparkling and steamy hot pools. We will definitely be back.
