Walk in Slowly or even not at all.

You never know when hotel staff may be having sex and eating dinner in your room.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Great property

It was very nice. Enjoyed watching birds and rabbits. Enjoyed sitting on patio watching the countryside. Very private. Surrounding area was gorgeous.

Never again

Hotel was overbooked resulting in them sticking us in whatever they had rather than getting the room type we booked weeks ahead of our stay. AC didn't work so the room was 80 degrees at its coolest. Bathroom was awful. Shower was tiny and water pooled onto the floor. This was mainly because it was meant for ADA which we did not request but, again, the hotel doesn't exactly plan and just sticks you in whatever happens to be left regardless of what was reserved. Bed was not very comfortable. The one thing going for this place is that it was in a good location.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Clean, well kept and relaxing getaway

Recently stayed at this resort for a birthday getaway and found it to be incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, a washer and dryer, dishwasher (detergent provided for both). The patio was perfect for relaxing while sipping my coffee. The bathroom was clean and had full sized soaps. The grounds were very well kept, clean and beautiful in June. We enjoyed the regular pool during the day to cool off and the hot springs in the evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It all made for an incredibly relaxing weekend away. It would make a great family vacation spot as well.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great location and fun!

We had a great stay. We were able to take advantage of the hot springs and the pool while we were there. Also got a chance to play some pool with the kids. Was a great memorable time. Only thing there were no coffee filters for the coffee pot, even went to the front desk and one of the maids looking for filters. No one had any. Weird, although the provided coffee for the coffee pot were the bagged coffees.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great Service

We really enjoyed our stay with Walley’s Resort. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and had the tenderest steak! It melted in your mouth! The server, Alexis, was great and did a wonderful job. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Nice room, but not worth a night of terrible sleep

Overall the room was nice, updated and clean although our bedsheets were a little stained in the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in… Super hard. Also unfortunate during our stay they did not offer any breakfast options. They gave us a list of nearby breakfast locations.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Disappointing - beautiful and historic site, but poorly managed

My husband and I booked a couple nights for a staycation here. The arrival and check in process was disjointed and confusing, and staff seemed slightly unprepared. The room itself was nice - well laid out, helpful kitchen setup - although it’s very dated, there were different color lightbulbs, and the fridge wobbled as though it wasn’t quite level. When we were out on our patio (a lovely touch) we could often smell cigarette smoke from someone else’s porch. The hot spring area was nicely laid out with different temp tubs, which was awesome. Check in for the area was unfortunate and, like most of the hotel management/setup, felt careless - there was a beautiful and historic bathhouse entryway, but that was closed off with guests routed through a generic hotel gift shop/food store instead. That felt confusing. We enjoyed our time in the springs themselves - good layout and fun bird watching. Finally, we were excited to eat at the on site restaurant but ended up leaving after 1) the host was kind of rude to us, asking if we had a reservation and when we said no, she lifted her eyebrows and looked down as though there might not be space (at check in they said we didn’t need a reservation, and plus the restaurant only had a few parties seated at tables), 2) the server came by and then didn’t return for such a long while that we had time to decide to leave. The menu was all over the place and overpriced. We ended up making a good meal in our room. Overall, I was ready to have a good time at this place and wanted to recommend it to friends, but wouldn’t return, even despite the springs, unless it was under new management and/or improved to draw out the actual character of the place and provide a unique/relaxing experience.

No, I do not recommend this property.
