Great Stay

We liked everything about this hotel. It was just a block from the strip so we could walk outside without being in the crowd. We were able to walk to the Sphere for the Wizard of Oz. The two room villa was more like an apartment than a hotel room. The staff were friendly and helpful during any contact with them.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great Stay

We were so happy with the staff at this resort. The shuttle, which we used multiple times per day, were all so pleasant and helpful. The concierge was fun to work with and provided great recommendations and value. What a nice team!

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great location, falls short of a resort

The room/building was is good repair and clean, but our room had a 1970's style... Not bad, but we expected something a little more modern. Also, the cable/TV goes out for about 20 minutes every day in the early hours (not an issue for most people, but still an annoyance). The constant push to schedule us for a Vacation Club Preview was definitely intrusive as we are locals and just wanted to stay close to the Sphere for a show. The restaurant was ok, certainly not resort level: ok food, ok service, more of a locals hole in the wall feel. The only thing going for this property is its location. Lastly, trying to me to sign up for VC membership (average $22,000) with this property as the example is like trying to sell me a NFL season tickets and showing me the seats are behind a pole with nothing more that hotdog stand for food. That said, I would stay here again if I had to.

Not the Best

Not the best. Upon check-in we found our rooms less than clean, with a really gross hair on the toilet and also hair in the shower. We had a 2 BR unit and there were holes in the carpet and the bathrooms have seen better days. The bathroom tub floor was broken so when you stepped into the tub the tub floor immediately sank which was very disconcerting. But what put the unpleasantness over the top was how we were treated. Upon arrival we pulled up in the driveway and were immediately approached by a security guard waving/shooing us away. We literally had just arrived so we didn't know the area was for pickup/drop off only and he was clearly annoyed even though we had no idea. No greeting, no friendly smile, just aggressive shooing. When we came back from dinner a different gentleman at the security entrance moving the cones to allow entry scolded our front passenger for showing our parking pass. He indicated he thought she was treating him like he was stupid when she was just trying to be helpful. That behavior was really uncalled for. The next day we went to the front desk to get help with a room question. We entered the clearly marked IHG line and stood there for nearly 30 minutes while absolutely NO ONE looked our way or even acknowledged us. We waited for nearly 30 minutes and tried to catch someone's attention to see if we needed to switch lines because other lines were getting helped but again no one would even look at us. I finally switched lines to get behind people who arrived well after me and was finally helped. On that note, Kimberly was helpful with my request so we are thankful for that one positive interaction. But it's hard to get past being deliberately ignored for 30 minutes by all 4 people working the front desk that morning. In a high churn and burn location like Vegas it's reasonable to not expect perfection and to understand that some things can fall through the cracks. In this case it went beyond that. Dirty bathrooms and unfortunate customer service will deter me from this brand and certainly this location.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Spacious Relaxing Stay

Great convenient location as there were plenty of things to do just a short walk away. Was there for business at the convention center which took the monorail some of the days and walked other days. It was great to have plenty of room to relax when at the room and didn't feel like we were in a hotel. Also great to stay in a place where we didn't have to walk through a smokey casino to get anywhere. Didn't have time to use the pools or fitness center so we will have to come back for pleasure next time and not work.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great hotel terrible time-share check-in!

Fantastic hotel. Rooms large and comfortable and have everything you need. Location is fantastic. Staff at front desk only interested in the hard sell for a timeshare. We were also offered tacky wristbands instead of card keys for our room which we obviously declined!!!

Stay here but don’t stay in Building 2

This is a great place to stay. We have actually stayed here twice. The 1st time was awesome. We just got the wrong room this last time as it was too noisy! I would stay again but not in Building 2.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Quick weekend for attending a Vegas wedding

A great place to start for our weekend in Las Vegas. This resort is really close to the Venetian. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and economic for families. Mary did a wonderful job during check in! Free parking was a plus. We were no frills travelers this time, but we were impressed with all the amenities that were offered to guests. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Yes, I recommend this property.
