Amazing Location with Amenities

We visited for the night while in town for a wedding. If we could do it all over again, we would stay for more than one night. This resort was perfect for our family of 5 with a 9 year old, 8 year old, and 5 year old. We only saw the two main pools but saw there were more on the map. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. It was open later than the hours listed which was helpful for our tight travel schedule and wanting to enjoy the facilities. We stayed in a two bedroom which was spacious and had everything we needed. We appreciated the abundance of towels provided as usually when we travel we have to ask for more. Our kids played mini golf (twice), ping pong, and the arcade. This all was comparable or better to other places we have traveled. Parking was ample. Check in was fast with many people working the various front desk stations. Check out was at 10 which is earlier than we are typically used to; however, we checked at the front desk and they were willing to let us use the amenities after checkout time.

Great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room clean and quiet.

Getaway

The location of this property is amazing. The soap and stuff should be checked before releasing the room for stay.

Bad customer service,horrible

Customer service do what they want and they don’t care about you,not sure if is because your Hispanic or why,but they so rude,they feel,they are making you a favor for free,but like you don’t have another option no more,to late to find somewhere else,and with an special needs girl,I swear it’s not what you want,or what you choose before arrive the property,tub suppose to be in the room so beautiful and close to the pools,and no when you arrive they give nothing compared with room you choose and so so far away from everything.So they are racism cause she don’t care for nothing we said.

Great views and nice hill country location, but…..

Nice location and pretty views of the lake, however. Be prepared to be aggressively pitched a mortgage to stay here. Become an owner, travel the world, just don’t say no or the rest of your stay might not be as welcoming. Also be prepared to pay extra for anything but bingo or pet rocks.

Spacious Room Well Maintained Property

Very well maintained property. Rooms are very spacious and affordable. Pool was very nice and clean. Maintenance came quickly when needed. Rooms well stocked with necessities. Close to local businesses.

Disappointed

The Villa I booked had a picture with an in room jacuzzi tub and the room I was given didn’t. The condo was located on a busy highway and it was noisy and difficult to sleep. Checkout is at 10 am, which isn’t great when you can’t sleep because of traffic noise outside all night long. I’m a Diamond Rewards member and that was not acknowledged at all. Housekeeping showed up while I was taking a nap over a “pillow issue”, again waking us up and they had the wrong room. Staff was rude when I asked for a late check out and it was denied. The resort is very nice looking, everything was clean. It was an overall bad experience due to the reasons above.

3 night stay as part as our journey north to Dallas

We stayed 3 nights to visit San Antonio and Austin. We chose the location for its central location to visit both cities.

Worst hotel ever!

At check in was railroad into signing up for a 2 hour sales pitch. After a 7 hour journey to get to the hotel we just wanted our key and get unpacked. So husband agreed to this. We then realised if we didn't turn up a $50 fee would be incurred. Not what you need at check in. Room was across a busy road away from main complex. No pool or ball for basketball court for my boys to enjoy. Couldn't walk across the busy road either. Internet photos of the views from rooms was misleading. We got a back road and private home driveways. The apartment was dull, run down and had rickety balcony furniture. Ants on the kitchen worktop which over run our food on day 2. Mattress in main bedroom was hard and uncomfortable. It gave me real bad back ache and stiffness each of the 6 mornings we stayed there. Did mention to staff twice but no offer to move us. Then said they were full when I mentioned 2nd time. Was wondering how they were full when the carpark for 5 units where we were, was hardly used! Shower cubicle was awful. Full plastic insert with a low pressure shower. Hairdryer not even worth switching on either. For 4 of us was given 3 tini bars of soap, who uses bar soap these days? Mini shampoo and mini conditioner and a mini body lotion. Wasnt really worth the gesture to be honest. Other hotel had reusable bottles and enough for us all the 4 nights. Definitely needed an update here. Which we were told was going to happen soon. Dishwasher tray on the top was stuck and unusable. Mentioned to staff twice but no offer to have it looked at. Hopefully after mentioning to Lisa on checkout, it will be looked at before renting it out again! Even though staying 6 nights, no fresh towels or bedding was offered. Not sure if this is normal practice in America?? After spending 4 nights at the same hotel in Galveston, this stay was very disappointing in every way.
