Myrtle Beach resort we booked the wrong place

The resort was really nice well maintained clean new furniture just because they can use a iRobot to vacuum the carpets kind of bland, but I probably would never stay here again because it is open. There’s no privacy you can see into the rooms across the water into the other building buildings everything that’s going on into the swimming area. It cost four dollars to walk the pier. I just didn’t like the fact there was no privacy at all I’m used to staying at the other resort that is across the street from it, which has a lot more amenities privacy and things for the kids to do for entertainment.

Hotel was excellent we decided to stay an extra day and staff was able to keep us in the same room.

Great place to stay for family reunion

The villa is a nice size and has a comfortable great room, with seating and dining for 8. The 4 bedrooms are generously sized, and the 3 bathrooms accommodated everyone. The beds were nice and comfortable. The decor has a light neutral beach vibe. There was sufficient space for everyone to be together, yet still be able to be private. The kitchen was well appointed, with small appliances, pots, pans, and bakeware for a family of foodies. Sufficient tableware, cutlery, glassware, and barware are also provided. We only brought a few extras. We also like having a washer and dryer in a vacation villa and enjoyed the combination unit provided. The views were amazing from the living room, the corner balcony, and all of the bedrooms. Everyone enjoyed multiple dolphin sightings. The pool and hot tubs were heated very comfortably. The location is great for those of us who do not enjoy the noise near the boardwalk. It was a family reunion stay, so the goal was to find a place where we could have the maximum time together, yet still be at the beach and enjoy water amenities that we do not have at home… home-like but better. That’s exactly what we found. We have owned and stayed at at vacation clubs/timeshares for more than 30 years, so we realize that daily housekeeping is not the standard, anywhere. I don’t throw my towels on the floor and leave them at home, so I don’t desire to do that away from home. The villa was thoroughly clean and ready for us when we arrived, and that was the important part. We had read information provided on the website and on our email confirmation concerning resort fees. Our bill was exactly what I expected it to be - no surprises. I cannot say people reporting these issues are lying but I certainly do not understand why they were surprised, perhaps they were just too hurried. Bobbi at the Front Desk was friendly and helpful at checkin and when answering questions for the couple of calls that we made. Everything was in working order. I’m probably leaving something, out but we really enjoyed our stay here very much. I highly recommend the resort and especially the 4 bedroom unit. I would love to return here and hope to.

The staff makes the stay !!!!!!!!!********

We were hear for Christmas at the beach which I was not that enthused about. The wife wanted it so I made it happen. OMG our stay was beyond measure our young men were skating minds blown .The front desk crew Mrs. Bobbie, Mrs. Jaymye to Mr. OT, Mr. James and Bill and Brian from maintenance. ( look at resort serve ) Bobbie has a smile before you get to the desk, Jaymye makes you fell like your the only one, Mr. James is friendly and efficient behind that desk excellent presence and Mr. OT seems to have the attitude and willingness to bend over backwards to improve your stay, always with a great greeting manner. From the moment you check in the staff is outstanding. Love elevator security process. rooms / balcony are spacious and comfortable. Even the sitting in the lobby is comfortable Ground are well kept pool was warm and they even have ping pong. I am sure the staff I did not encounter is of equal measure. Kitchen has the basic necessities to fix full meal breakfast or dinner. Beds like a cloud. Already trying to come back next Christmas if you can believe that, from the guy who didn't want to come. hooaa . The view from your balcony when the sun rises is WOW. One last thing ask at the front desk how to operate the icemaker LOL. The Army Veteran

One Night in Paradise

First off, we have had bad experiences with other hotels in Myrtle Beach. Because of that We bought a camper and have been camping for 15 years. This was the first time we have tried a hotel again. This Holiday Inn stay was wonderful! Parking was great, check-in was so easy, and the room was beautiful. We ate the hotel food for breakfast and dinner and it was so delicious. The room had every amenity you could want and they were so clean. We cannot wait to stay there again. Slept like a baby…

Holiday Inn Oceanfront

Great staff, great hotel. Wonderful experience across the board. Room was a 10 from the beds to the entertainment, plenty of charging outlets throughout the room.

we're looking forward to our Visit next year!! Family Xmas gathering is Sooo fun we eat, play games and enjoyed the lobby Xmas decor.

Thanksgiving Stay

We were excited to stay at the new property. Overall my grandchildren love the oceanfront. Amenities were accommodating. Appearance is beautiful. But,on day one we encountered a security breach. This has never happened to us at the property across the street. Unclean towel was left hanging in shower. Bed fitted sheet is too small for king bed it will not stay in place. Bed is too soft for anyone with back issues. Breakfast stool has a torn corner. Crack in shower ceiling is concerning.

Effective accommodations

Immaculate and comfortable. It was very convenient from my niece's home in Surfside.
