The ONLY saving grace was staff and location

Stayed here initially as part of a Holiday Inn Club Vacations timeshare offer. If you plan to entice someone (especially a family of 4), why would you give them the smallest room-which was the 1br deluxe? I'll start with the few pros: Maintenance staff were friendly and welcoming (shouts out to Donnie and Valle). Each time we encountered an issue, they were our liaisons, and we were so grateful. From our stove not working, to finding a hair weave on top of the fridge, to not having enough towels and washcloths for a family of 4, to not having adequate bedding for our party, etc- they helped us as much as they could. Also, with this place being a 5 min walk away from Canal and Bourbon, it is convenient. Cons: Housekeeping- much to be desired View- Only the top floor had a view and that was just for the timeshare member rooms, all other rooms were looking at brick walls, or the windows in the building next door if you were lucky. Evening staff- too busy on their phones to notice you coming in or out Accommodations- I was told at the desk there were no automatic upgrades for anyone regardless of your IHG status and that was on order of management. I was also told that it was in an effort to make sure people paid for their upgrades. My status was never acknowledged once. Plugs- Scarce! There's only plug access on one side of the bed and the nearest other than that is across the room by the window Vents- There is a vent that blows directly onto the bed and you cannot adjust the vents. Your only choice in the Summer is sweat it out or sneezes and sniffles from having cold air blown on you. There's more but I just say, at the cost, it's not worth it. Try another chain and this is coming from someone that swears by IHG.

No, I do not recommend this property.

One of the Best Holiday Inn I've checked in!

This place is a blast! I had the rest that I've been longing for. The staffs are very nice, welcoming and very accommodating in every need. I do wish these are the sets of people that they have every Holiday Inn I go.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great experience!

Very Nice and comfortable rooms. The hotel is in a great location if you want to go to the French Quarter. The staff, especially Jessica at the front desk, were exceptional. In fact, Jessica's friendliness and tips on places to eat and visit made out trip fantastic.

Great location in New Orleans to see attractions

They needed recliners in the living room. The couch and kitchen table chairs were not that comfortable. Customer service was awesome

Great Stay in NOLA

We had a very nice stay at this resort. Our villa was clean, large, very comfortable, and had good views at night. This resorts puts you in the heart of New Orleans. With a couple of minutes you can walk to Bourbon Street. The WWII Museum, French Quarters, Caesars Palace, and and Riverwalk Mall are between a 10-15 minute walk. There are many great restaurants only a couple minutes away, and the valet staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this resort if you are staying in New Orleans.

Good with issues

This would have been a great vacation if the AC would have worked appropriately. After notification the first time and coming to to "reset" and change filter it did work but never got below 74° in the unit. Notification number 2 went on deaf ears, we did check out and move to another hotel. I did alert the front desk upon early check-out, was advised Manager would contact me the next day but that never happened. Never asked for a refund, didn't expect one, however, communication would have been nice. When the room reached 80° that was too much. So, in a nutshell: perfect location, excellent employees, spacious suites. Need to work on upkeep of HVAC so other people who spend so much to stay are happy. Learn on better communication practices.

Perfect location and accommodation for larger families

We found this hotel searching for a place to stay for 4 adults and one teenager. The 2 bedroom suite came up as an option and was reasonably priced. It exceeded our expectations. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen including dishwasher and a large living room area with sofa bed. So nice to have so much space when we came back to the hotel each night.

Yes, I recommend this property.
