Valet made my stay

The valet was our favorite part they where so sweet and attentive and they just made the stay so welcoming it was rocky at front deck because they lady at the front looked up seen me ignored me avoiding eye contact but another gentlemen came from the back to help and that honestly was my only issue because I work customer service but the room was perfect so much room and such a better location to enjoy the city

great staff, excellent location

the staff is great and very helpful. The location is excellent, but noise very high, despite we were at 7th floor.

Nice hotel, sketchy service..

This is a nice hotel and a great location. Sadly, the service is awful. Upon arriving, we were not recognized IHG members. However, we were shuffled off to a concierge offering all sorts of freebies for us to do a 90 minute tour the next day. After emphatically saying no, the insistence continued. What makes it worse is that I have actually done the tour and the presentation for the timeshare operation one year ago. We were not able to get our keys until we listened to what the concierge had to say. I felt like we were being held hostage. All we wanted to do was have a cocktail and unwind after a very long drive. To make things worse, our heat went out during our stay and it was an unbelievably cold 21°. Our room got down to 57°. We were told at the front desk that all we could be offered were some extra blankets. We were furious. We were trying to stay warm with heat from the oven. The heat did come back on the next morning, and we did end up staying the next night, because we planned to check out early due to the cold. The last day upon check out, Mary was actually very nice and apologetic and let us know that we had been given a credit for that night. The whole situation was stressful nevertheless. We definitely won’t be back. It is really a shame because the location is great, and we loved our room. However, service goes a long way. If you decide to stay here, I would call and make sure the AC or the heat is working properly, and be prepared for the timeshare tour “talk” upon check-in.

My husband and I were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Sue as soon as we pulled into the valet. Mrs. Sue is exceptional, she started our stay off Wonderfully! She offered help in locating food and gave us information about parades. She made sure we got to the front desk to check in properly, then she made sure our car was valeted. And of course she gave us beads! Mary at the front desk was extremely polite with outstanding patience and customer service. The trip started off great! We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Would not return

Extremely loud noise from outside disturbed our sleep every single night around 4am. Loud banging, sounded like dumpsters being slammed. Checked windows to see if they were open because we could hear everything from the 9th floor. Check-in was fine but the wait to receive keys is something I have never experienced anywhere in the world! We just wanted our keys. We had to wait to hear what I guess was a timeshare presentation. We were hungry so we left to go eat. Came back, had to wait some more, eventually asked front desk if we can have the keys. Still waiting on final receipt after check-out despite requesting it a couple of times. Did not feel safe for 2 women traveling alone with all the homeless men outside of the building. Hardly left the room, mostly to get food. Bed sheets had holes. I have a picture. Hot water in shower went from freezing to scorching hot intermittently. Could not use both showers at the same time. I now see others had the same problems 5 years ago until now.

No housekeeping and wasn't allowed to use my points. The corner has lots of homeless and isn't very safe

Best Place to Stay

The staff were awesome. They were pleasant and very friendly, felt like we were all friends lol. The resort was clean and decorated beautifully. The proximity to food and entertainment was perfect, we were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we return to the Crescent City.

Great spot for an extended stay!

We very much enjoyed our extended stay here, especially as we had a signature suite that functions like a small apartment. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating and the hotel and room were very clean. The noise can be a bit much, but that's expected when you stay so close to Canal and the French Quarter. The only issue we had was the first night and morning, the staff trying to push us to attend a timeshare presentation, which we had shown no interest in while booking and I had to give multiple firm "no's" before they finally stopped. It was not pleasant and the last thing I wanted to deal with after a long day of travel. The "amenities" are sparse and the pool is laughably small, but that didn't bother us as we had no intention of swimming in December. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay for our family to enjoy the Christmas holiday in NOLA.

Great hotel clean room and friendly staff. Soon as you enter the villa we were greeted by relaxing jazz.The hotel was in a great place for shopping and eating. The hotel is near the Galleria a good place to eat.
