Excellent stay room was very clean, bed comfortable. 2 TV"s in our suite that was a PLUS for us. Everything you need is in walking distance.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great stay in New Orleans

Sue at the front door is A++ very friendly every time we walked through the door. She even went out of her way to help my fried who left his phone in the uber car. Bourbon street got a little rowdy while we were there but we felt safe in the building

Yes, I recommend this property.

Disappointing Service.

Average timeshare. Stayed on business and pressed for timeshare presentation. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The front desk closes overnight and doesn't open early in the morning. Unable to check out. As a Diamond it took me four calls to the front desk over several days to get a copy of my receipt. I will not be staying there again

Wonderful way to spend your time in the Big Easy

This hotel has one of the nicest staffs Ive encountered in my global travels, and made me feel absolutely at home. The internet is fast, the AC runs cold, and the hotel provides ample space and amenities. After staying with them for a week while exploring the city we are already planning our return. Be forewarned though, there is no dedicated shuttle to and from the airport regardless of what google/tripadvisor says, and the hotel unfortunately doesnt have a restaurant. However, despite that transportation is fairly easy, and there ARE so many places to eat and explore as it is centrally located. You will not regret staying here!

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great Place to stay with some drawbacks

Beautiful hotel with great amenities such as oversized rooms, full kitchens and even a nice small dipping pool on the roof. Also a very clean room with attentive staff. Location-wise it is near Bourbon St and also other walkable restaurants and bars on Poydras and Canal streets. Only drawback to this hotel is the surroundings, its in an area with a lot of homeless people and others that just loiter on the street across from the main entrance. Would have been a 5 star review but really needs to work with the city to make the outdoor environment a little more inviting

Best stay at a holiday inn

Really enjoyed myself at the holiday inn vacation club in New Orleans LA. The staff was very friendly and I like that they remembered my name and acknowledged my elite status and complimentary gift was also nice it made me feel special without going over the top knowing they went out of their way to remember something as simple as my name, let me re-iterate on that I’m a high value member and it’s not the fact they remembered my name its the fact they remembered everyones name I love a place like that it really brings warmth to my heart. The rooms are really nice also something like Marriott’s residence inn but these rooms are more updated and love the fact it’s no carpet so no weird smells lingering. Oh I did have one hick up but the service desk got to the issue right away and offered a solution while i wait. And another thing was the check in was not that long but did have to wait awhile for a room to become available but I did request it and I was told it was based on what they had clean and available at time of arrival, regular check in is 3 or 4 I think and I arrived at around 1 and the earliest room was not ready until 3 but they did store my bags while I did a little sightseeing. Overall I loved it and the minor complaints I did have would not justify me staying I would never stay there again as a matter of fact I just tried booking another stay in a few months but they are already booked only due to the amount of rooms they have compared to other surrounding hotels.

Yes, I recommend this property.

The ONLY saving grace was staff and location

Stayed here initially as part of a Holiday Inn Club Vacations timeshare offer. If you plan to entice someone (especially a family of 4), why would you give them the smallest room-which was the 1br deluxe? I'll start with the few pros: Maintenance staff were friendly and welcoming (shouts out to Donnie and Valle). Each time we encountered an issue, they were our liaisons, and we were so grateful. From our stove not working, to finding a hair weave on top of the fridge, to not having enough towels and washcloths for a family of 4, to not having adequate bedding for our party, etc- they helped us as much as they could. Also, with this place being a 5 min walk away from Canal and Bourbon, it is convenient. Cons: Housekeeping- much to be desired View- Only the top floor had a view and that was just for the timeshare member rooms, all other rooms were looking at brick walls, or the windows in the building next door if you were lucky. Evening staff- too busy on their phones to notice you coming in or out Accommodations- I was told at the desk there were no automatic upgrades for anyone regardless of your IHG status and that was on order of management. I was also told that it was in an effort to make sure people paid for their upgrades. My status was never acknowledged once. Plugs- Scarce! There's only plug access on one side of the bed and the nearest other than that is across the room by the window Vents- There is a vent that blows directly onto the bed and you cannot adjust the vents. Your only choice in the Summer is sweat it out or sneezes and sniffles from having cold air blown on you. There's more but I just say, at the cost, it's not worth it. Try another chain and this is coming from someone that swears by IHG.

No, I do not recommend this property.

One of the Best Holiday Inn I've checked in!

This place is a blast! I had the rest that I've been longing for. The staffs are very nice, welcoming and very accommodating in every need. I do wish these are the sets of people that they have every Holiday Inn I go.
