Excellent location, friendly staff and the amenities were exceptional.

fantastic two-bedroom suite + easy beach access

I had an excellent stay at Holiday Inn Resort Myrtle Beach South. The only hiccup was at check-in: my IHG status wasn’t recognized correctly (I’m Diamond Elite, but I was listed as Platinum). Other than that, everything was great. The two-bedroom suite was outstanding—comfortable, roomy, and exactly what I needed. Beach access is a short, easy walk, which was a big plus. The location worked perfectly for my trip since I was in town for a red carpet film premiere at the Grande 14. Another nice bonus: there’s a short golf course next door, which adds to the convenience and fun of the area. One suggestion: add more charging ports (USB/USB-C) in the rooms—that would make an already great setup even better. I didn’t use the on-site food and beverage, so I can’t comment on dining, but overall I can’t say enough good things about this property. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Perfect

If you have traveled a lot then you will really appreciate this place. It was sooo clean and comfy. I had to work some, but it felt more like a get away than a business trip. I would come back just to visit. The closet door track was dirty but you can just shut the door and tune it out. I think they are trying to sell time shares so just tell them checking you that you are there for business and they will think you don't have time for them... LOL

free upgrade

i was given a free upgrade for my room which made me very happy. wish the weather had been warmer so I could check out the pool, etc.

Great Stay

Amenities in your spacious rooms, plus kitchen, washer, dryer. Resort is great and very accommodating. Truly enjoyed my visit and will stay longer next time. Fantastic team and friendly associates. Close to lots of adventures and it stores.

My first stay in myrtle beach

This was my first stay in the area. This hotel was able to be booked through the app. Upon arrival the employees were very quick to greet me and help me get through the check in process. While there all staff members were friendly and were able to answer the few questions we did have. The rooms are very spacious and have alot of place for storage as well as a washer and dryer in the room avaliable which is very nice.

My Stay - Christmas Week 2025

On the day of check out we couldn't find a cart to take our belongings to our car. When I called the desk at 7 AM I was told by Mary that we could check another building for a cart. This was totally unacceptable and I told her that. We were both senior citizens and shouldn't have to do that. She called back and said she would send someone over shortly with a cart. I have never had an issue like that in all of the times that we have stayed there. It was a very disappointing end to our vacation. It caused us to leave later than we planned since we had a long drive home and wanted an early start.
