Nice hotel that’s clean, however, most of the staff were rude and very unwilling to help.

Walls are very thin, difficult to sleep with all the guests around you talking/tv on. Building is old with no air conditioner which was fine because it was cold enough outside to keep the windows open. Sauna inside the building is nowhere near the temperature a normal sauna is.

Beautiful views
Clean resort, room was well stocked with towels, a fan ,air cooler, ironing bored and iron. Fun activities planned daily(see schedule provided at the front desk) Several pools, one was indoor/outdoor Children’s playground and mini golf Decor was nothing exciting and felt very dark, carpet was tattered at the entry way of the bathroom.

Tahoe Ridge is an understaffed, out-of-the-way, somewhat run-down "resort." It is desperately in need of an upgrade.

Lake Tahoe vacation
Wife had always wanted to visit Lake Tahoe, her professor in college (40 years ago) had visited there and had some great pictures. She just retired and for her Birthday, we finally had her wish come true. Pictures cannot portray the absolute beauty of God's creation! We had a marvelous time and it was better than we could have imagined. The Holiday Inn Resort was icing on the cake!! Thanks so much making my Wife's Dream a Reality!!

Not Happy
Too far from Tahoe activities, difficult to find and to drive to at night. No temperature control, had to use fan and keep window open to cool room. did like the two sinks, one in bathroom and the other in between. Bed too mushy. Where is the Holiday Inn Express in the south Tahoe area. No breakfast included for such a high price. Cannot have receipt emailed.

Beautiful location and great room! Just wish there were better food options. Especially breakfast! Lots of things to do on the property. Overall great stay!

False information
I was told I could not get and upgrade because they were sold out. I showed the lady at the check in there were plenty of rooms available for my dates but she said she checked and she cannot upgrade me. On the last day I asked for late check out she gave me til 11am. Isn’t platinum member supposed to get til 2pm? I fell this place was misleading and lying to me.

Villa really nice
Villa was really nice, loved the fact that it was 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. And even in the other bedroom a mini fridge and microwave and plenty of sinks
